The president of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, Abdolali Ali-Askari has discussed cooperation with the head of China’s state broadcasting company, CCTV.
The meeting that revolved around improving the bilateral cooperation in the domain of media and broadcasting took place on Monday, June 5, in the Chinese capital city of Beijing.
Ali-Askari, who left Iran to participate at the 2017 Asia Media Summit in China, said during the meeting that the IRIB group is ready to cooperate with Chinese media institutions on all levels.
The head of IRIB talked during the meeting about the historical relationships between Iran and china, focusing on the importance of cooperation between the two countries.
Ali-Askari also highlighted the role of Iran in the reestablishment of the Silk Road, stating that Iran supports such programs.
The 14th edition of the Asia Media Summit will start tomorrow in the Chinese city of Qingdao, ending on Thursday June 8, 2017.
